New! Annual Fee Information for 2026

Warning: Annual fees are not refunded. You must file an annual fee exclusion submission prior to December 31st for individuals who will not require registration or approval as a permitted individual after this date. The submission must be filed in each applicable jurisdiction of registration to avoid annual fee charges. A 33-109F1 or F2 for the individual must follow. Contact your principal regulator to confirm whether individuals meet the criteria to file the submission.

To determine and notify the OSC regarding participation fees payable, go to
OSC's Registration forms and documents webpage and submit the applicable online form 13-502F4 or 13-503F1. Late filing fee will incur if the applicable form was filed after November 1st.

NRD will be unavailable during the Annual Fee process as follows:
  • Preliminary Annual Fee Calculation: December 1st, 1:00 AM - 9:00 AM ET
  • Final Annual Fee Payment: December 31st, 3:00 PM - January 1st, 6:00 AM ET

    Potential Canada Post Service Disruption

    On May 19, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers issued a strike notice. The potential Canada Post service disruption would impact mail delivery, which can affect submissions of NRD enrollment packages to the CSA. Registrant firms are encouraged to consider alternative delivery methods to avoid service disruptions.

    Update on CSA initiative to streamline registration delegation to CIRO

    On November 20, 2024, the CSA announced that its members are exploring delegating certain registration functions and powers to CIRO. The CSA is progressing with this initiative and has created an online resource to inform market participants about ongoing activities.

    CSA Service Desk Notice: Phishing Scam

    The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) regularly monitor for potential threats or scams put forth by cybercriminals to better protect against unauthorized access such as phishing scams.

    Should you receive a suspicious e-mail claiming to be from the CSA please contact us at
    CSA-ACVM-Secretariat@acvm-csa.ca, if you clicked a link, or you are concerned that your account(s) have been compromised, the CSA recommends you change your email and login passwords.

    When we are made aware of a specific incident, the cybersecurity team and other experts at the CSA work quickly to address the issue.

    Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (formerly New Self-Regulatory Organization of Canada)

    Canada's provincial and territorial securities regulators recognized the New Self-Regulatory Organization of Canada (New SRO) effective January 1, 2023. New SRO subsequently changed its name to the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) on June 1, 2023. The CIRO consolidates the functions of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) and the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA).
